How can I receive grades if the course I have taken ends with credit and not exam?
Erasmus students need grades, so ask your teachers to give you points corresponding to how you did in the course. Most teachers know the system, but in case they don’t, here is a table you can share with them. Then when they put the information about your “pass” into an online system called Portal, they use a box to put points (“body” in Czech).

When and how do I get my Transcript of Records?
Once you have all your grades in Portal, you can ask for a document - Transcript of Records. Remember that you have to allow yourself enough time to arrange for this, minimum one week. You first ask your Erasmus coordinator, who informs Ms Zelenková from study department. She helps you to get it printed and then gives it to Mr Sirotek, our vice-dean to sign. Afterwards you can collect it in Ms Zelenková!s office, Veleslavínova street.
Do I need to do any other paperwork before I leave?
Yes, you do. You have to get stamps and signature on one paper you receive usually upon arrival. You have to go to the library, dormitory and JIS card office to get it stamped and signed by them. This paper says that you don’t owe anything anywhere. Once you have it stamped and signed, you give it to Ms Zelenková.
Do I have to use my university email given to me automatically at the University of West Bohemia?
Yes! Teachers sometimes send group emails and those come only to your university email address. E.g. information about your classes - if the class is cancelled or rescheduled. You can also receive some useful links or tasks.
